Portfolio Manager

Chairwoman

Richard Stuart

Richard is a senior finance major from Wilmington, MA. This is his 6th semester in MFIF and he is currently serving as the Portfolio Manager as well as senior analyst in the TMT sector. This past summer, Richard worked at Citi as a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst. On campus, Richard currently serves as the Lead OIM 210 teaching assistant and is a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. In his free time, Richard enjoys skiing, golfing, and spending time with friends.

Michael Giangregorio

President

Michael Giangregorio is a senior finance major from Atkinson, NH. This is his 6th semester in the fund, where he serves as President as well as a senior analyst in the Energy sector. Michael interned at DreamBridge Financial his freshman summer as a wealth management intern. During his sophomore summer Michael worked at Lincoln Peak Capital as a private equity summer analyst. Last summer Michael was a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst and he will be returning there fulltime following graduation. On campus, Michael currently serves as an OIM 210 teaching assistant. In his free time he enjoys skiing, surfing, playing soccer, and hiking.

Niya Karamanov

Charles O'Rourke

Sector Head (Consumer)

Charles is a Senior Finance major from Long Island, NY. He is currently serving as a Sector Head in the Consumer Sector. Last summer, he was a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst at RBC Capital Markets in New York City and is returning full time on their Leveraged Finance desk. In his spare time Charlie enjoys surfing, working out, poker and traveling.

Alex Oleksinski

Sector Head (Healthcare)

Alex Oleksinski is a senior finance major from Bedford, MA. This is his fourth semester in the fund and he is currently the head of the Healthcare sector. After interning at Prime Buchholz LLC in an investment research role in 2022, this past summer Alex worked at Citizens as an investment banking intern on their DCM team in Boston, where he will be returning after graduation. In his free time, he likes to ski, play backgammon, and read.

Ishika Goyal

Sector Head (Industrials)

Ishika Goyal is a junior Informatics major from Lexington, MA. This is her 6th semester in the fund, including participation in the DIFI program. She is currently Sector Head of the Industrials sector. Last summer, Ishika interned at Fidelity Investments and will be returning to their Fixed Income division as a financial research intern. She enjoys dancing, going on hikes, and learning new languages.

Niya is a senior finance major and classics minor from Milford, MA. This is her fourth semester in MFIF, where she is Chairwoman and a senior analyst covering healthcare. For the past two summers, Niya has interned at Wellington Management, where she will be going back full-time as a Multi-Strategy and Alternatives Product Management Associate. In her free time, she enjoys reading, going on walks with friends, and cooking.

Urvish Ramaiya

Sector Head (TMT)

Urvish Ramaiya is a junior computer science major from Bangalore, India. This is his 4th semester at the fund, and he is a Senior analyst in the TMT sector. This past summer, Urvish worked as a software development intern working on cloud native applications and this summer, he will be interning with Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineering Intern. In his free time, Urvish enjoys listening to music, cycling and trekking.

Jack Stewart

Study Abroad

Jack is a junior Finance major from Hamilton, MA. This is his fourth semester in the fund and he is currently the head of the Energy sector. This past summer Jack interned at Fox Financial Investments, L.P. Next summer, Jack will be joining Harris Williams as an investment banking summer analyst in their Boston office. On campus, Jack is the President of the UMass Investment Club, and a teaching assistant for OIM 210. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, golfing, and hanging out with friends.

Madeleine Ekmekjian

Senior Analyst (Consumer)

Madeleine Ekmekjian is a senior finance major from Waltham, MA. She has been in the fund for 6 semesters. Sophomore summer, Madeleine interned at Fidelity Investments. This past summer, she interned at Berkeley Research Group as a Turnaround & Restructuring Summer Associate and she will be returning as a full time associate after graduation. Madeleine is also part of the leadership team for Smart Women Securities along with being a teaching assistant for OIM 210. In her free time, she enjoys photography, traveling, and hanging out with friends.

Tudor Grigoras

Sector Head (Energy)

Tudor is a junior Finance and Economics major from Galati, Romania and a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. This is his 4th semester at the fund, and he will be a senior analyst in the Healthcare sector. Last summer, Tudor interned at Citi in their Romania based CCB Risk department. In addition to his involvement with the fund, Tudor is Vice-President of the UMass Investment Club. In his free time, Tudor enjoys working out, poker, spending time with friends and travelling.

Amanda Yee

Study Abroad

Amanda Yee is a junior Finance major from Newton, MA. This is her fourth semester in MFIF, and she is a senior analyst in the Energy sector. This past summer she interned at Fidelity Investments. Next summer, she will be joining Wells Fargo as an investment banking summer analyst. On campus, she is a Career Peer in the Chase Career Center and TA for Transitions 191. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and working out.

Marie Messinger

Study Abroad

Marie Messinger is a Junior Finance major from Canton, MA. This is her fourth semester in the fund and she is a senior analyst covering the TMT sector. This past summer, she interned at Mass PRIM on their private equity team. Next summer, Marie will be joining Citi as a municipal banking summer analyst. She also serves on the leadership team of Smart Women Securities. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on the Cape, running, and volunteering.

Shriyaa Chittibabu

Study Abroad

Shriyaa Chittibabu is a sophomore Finance and Economics major in the Commonwealth Honors College; on campus she is an International Scholars Program fellow and vice president of the UMass Investment Club. This is her second semester in the fund and she will be covering the Healthcare sector. Last summer, Shriyaa was a Girls Who Invest Online Intensive Scholar, and will be a Summer Intensive Scholar this upcoming summer. In her free time, Shriyaa enjoys listening to music, thrifting, and spending time with friends.

Sarah Vaughan

Senior Analyst (TMT)

Sarah Vaughan is a junior finance major from Dover, MA. This is her third semester in MFIF, and she is a senior analyst covering the Industrials Sector. This past summer, she interned at the UMass Investment Office and participated in the Girls Who Invest Online Intensive Program. Next Summer, she will be interning at KeyBanc Capital Markets as a Real Estate Investment Banking Summer Analyst. In addition, Sarah is the Chief Development Officer for Smart Woman Securities, TA for FIN-301, and a Career Peer in the Chase Career Center. In her free time, Sarah enjoys baking, running, and spending time with friends and family.

Inez Baxter

Senior Analyst (Consumer)

Inez Baxter is a sophomore Finance major from Newton, MA. This is
her second semester in MFIF and she will be a junior analyst covering
the Industrials sector. On campus, Inez is also a member of Smart Women’s Securities where she is on the young leadership team. This past summer she was a mentee in the Fidelity Boundless program, and this upcoming school year she will be participating in the Loomis Sayles
Undergraduate Women’s Investment Network(UWIN) program. In her free
time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time
with friends and family.

Armando Walters

Senior Analyst (Industrials)

Armando is a freshman finance major from Boston, MA. This is his second semester in MFIF and he is currently serving as a Junior Analyst covering the Healthcare sector. This past summer Armando interned at Fidelity Investments as a part of the Asset Management Compliance Strategic Advisors team and this summer, he hopes to once again intern at Fidelity. On campus, Armando is a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. In his free time, Armando enjoys playing sports, weight lifting, and spending time with friends.

Pranav Anandavel

Pranav is a freshman public policy and managerial economics major from Avon, CT. He is also a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. This is his first semester in MFIF, and he is a junior analyst covering the Consumer sector. In his free time, Pranav enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family.

Adam Bates

Senior Analyst (TMT)

Adam Bates is a sophomore Finance major from Holden, MA. This is his 2nd semester in MFIF and he is currently a junior analyst covering the TMT sector. This past summer, Adam worked at Carr Financial Group as a wealth management intern. On campus, Adam is the Vice President of Investment Club and a teaching assistant for OIM 210. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, watching sports, and hanging out with friends.

Tobin Clark-Goldfeld

Senior Analyst (Healthcare)

Tobin is a freshman finance major from Hamilton, MA. This is his first semester in MFIF and he is currently a Junior Analyst covering the Energy sector. Tobin is also a member of the UMASS Club Baseball team and in his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, skiing, traveling, and playing sports.

Jack Stone

Jack is a Freshman finance major from Mashpee, MA. This will be his first semester in the fund. In his free time, Jack enjoys skiing, golfing, traveling, and watching sports.

Max Voellmicke

Junior Analyst (Energy)

Max is a sophomore finance major and economics minor from Franklin, MA. This is his 1st semester in MFIF, and he is currently serving as a Junior Analyst. This past summer, Max interned at Digital Federal Credit Union at their Franklin branch, working upfront at the bank. On campus, Max works at UHS and is a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. In his free time, Max loves to workout, play basketball and badminton, and spend time with friends.

Anay Gandhi

Study Abroad

Anay is a sophomore computer science and actuarial math student with a business minor from Wilmington, MA, and this is his 1st semester in MFIF. This past summer, Anay interned at Iron Mountain as a Machine Learning Intern. He is a member of the Commonwealth Honors College and in his free time, Anay enjoys playing tennis, playing poker, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Diya Bhogesara

Junior Analyst (Industrials)

Diya is a sophomore finance major from Pune, India. This is her first semester in MFIF. On campus, Diya is a peer financial coach with Smart About Money and an Orientation leader. In her free time, she enjoys sketching, watching tennis, and playing intramural sports with friends.

Aakash Nandipaku

Junior Analyst (Consumer)

Aakash is a freshman finance major and intended computer science minor from North Andover, MA. He is also a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. This is his first semester in MFIF. On campus, Aakash is a member of the UMass Athletics Creative Media team. In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing sports, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Kate Radulski

Junior Analyst (Consumer)

Kate is a freshman Finance major from Hingham, MA. She is also a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. This is her first semester in MFIF as a Junior Analyst. Kate is also on the young leadership team for Smart Women Securities and is a member of Women in Business. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Joshua Sautter

Junior Analyst (Healthcare)

Joshua is a freshman finance major from Waltham, MA. This is his first semester in MFIF and he is currently serving as a Junior Analyst. He is also a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. On campus, Joshua works as a dishwasher and is a member of the UMass club swim team. In his free time, Joshua enjoys rock climbing, swimming, and listening to music.

Nico Calderone

Junior Analyst (Healthcare)

Nico is a sophomore finance major from Plainville, MA. This is his 1st semester in MFIF. On campus, Nico is an active member of the Investment Club and Finance Society placing 1st in the Investment Club's Stock Pitch Competition. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and weightlifting.

Max Kasper

Junior Analyst (TMT)

Max is a Freshman finance major from Needham, MA. He is entering his first semester in MFIF and will serve as a Junior Analyst. Max is also a member of the Umass Club Baseball Team and in his free time enjoys traveling, skiing, exercising, and sports.
