Adam Bates
President
Adam is a senior finance major from Holden, MA. This is his 7th semester in MFIF and he is currently serving as the President of the fund. This past summer, he interned at Berkeley Research Group as a Turnaround and Restructuring Summer Associate where he will be returning full-time after graduation. On campus, Adam currently serves as an OIM 210 Teaching Assistant. In his free time, Adam enjoys golfing, playing basketball, and spending time with friends.

Max Voellmicke
Portfolio Manager
Max is a senior finance and economics major from Franklin, MA. He is also a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. This is his 6th semester in the fund where he serves as portfolio manager. This past summer, Max interned at Citi as a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst where he will be returning full-time after graduation. In his free time, Max enjoys working out, playing basketball and golf, and spending time with friends.
Inez Baxter
Chairwomen
Inez Baxter is a senior operations & information management major from Newton, MA. This is her 7th semester in the fund, and she is currently serving as the Chairwoman and leading the Diversity in Fixed Income program. This past summer, Inez interned at Cambridge Associates where she will be returning after graduation. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Tobin Clark-Goldfeld
Healthcare
Tobin is a senior finance major from Hamilton, MA. This is his 7th semester in MFIF and is currently serving as a Senior Analyst. This past summer Tobin interned at RBC Capital Markets as a Sales & Trading summer analyst and he will be returning full-time after graduation. On campus, Tobin serves as a TA for OIM 210, and is a member of the UMass Club Baseball team. In his free time, Tobin enjoys skiing, hiking, golfing, playing cards, and spending time with friends.
Armando Walters
Healthcare
Armando is a senior finance major from Boston, MA and this is his 7th semester in the fund. On campus, Armando is also a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. This past summer Armando interned at Fidelity Investments as a Fixed Income research associate intern where he will be returning full-time after graduation. In his free time, Armando enjoys playing sports, weight lifting, and spending time with friends.
Jack Stone
Energy
Jack is a senior finance major from Mashpee, MA and this semester he is a senior analyst in TMT. This past summer, Jack worked at J.P. Morgan as a Credit Research Summer Analyst within their Credit Portfolio Group in NYC. He will be returning to J.P. Morgan upon graduation. On campus, Jack currently serves as an OIM 210 teaching assistant. In his free time, Jack enjoys skiing, golfing, watching sports, and hanging out with friends.
Pranav Anandavel

Pranav is a senior public policy major from Avon, CT. This is his 7th semester in MFIF. This past summer, he interned at J.P. Morgan as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst within their Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets group, and after graduation he will be returning there full-time. In his free time, Pranav enjoys working out, watching sports, and spending time with his friends and family.
Diya Bhogesara

Diya is a senior finance major from Pune, India. This is her 5th semester in MFIF and she is currently serving as a Senior Analyst. On campus, Diya currently serves as a Resident Assistant and Peer Financial Coach with Smart About Money. In her free time, Diya enjoys working out, sketching, watching tennis, and spending time with friends.

AJ is a sophomore finance major from Hingham, MA. This is his 3rd semester in MFIF, and he is currently serving as a senior analyst. Alongside MFIF, AJ also serves as a vice president of Investment Club. In his free time, AJ enjoys golfing, running, and spending time with friends.

Yanyan Lee
TMT
Yanyan is a sophomore with a double major in finance and managerial economics and an IT minor from Taipei, Taiwan. This is her 3rd semester in MFIF, and she is currently serving as a senior analyst in the Energy sector. On campus, Yanyan is also a Technical Prep Chair on the Young Leadership Team of Smart Woman Securities and a fellow in the Integrated Concentration in STEM Program. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with friends and family.

Olivia Alper

Olivia is a sophomore finance major from Needham, MA. This is her 3rd semester in the fund as a senior analyst. On campus, she serves as the RSO Chair for Smart Woman Securities and is also a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. Outside of the classroom, Olivia is a member of the Club Field Hockey team, and in her free time she enjoys going out to eat with friends and staying active.
Marissa Medeiros

Marissa is a sophomore finance major from Berkley, MA. She's also a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. This is her 3rd semester in the fund, and she is currently a Senior Analyst in the Energy sector. On campus, Marissa is also involved in Delta Sigma Pi and is the Communications Chair of Smart Woman Securities. This upcoming summer she will be interning at Fidelity Investments. In her free time, Marissa is an avid reader, film enthusiast, and enjoys singing.
Isabella Monteiro

Isabella is a sophmore finance and computer science major from Scituate, MA. She is in her 3rd semester of being in MFIF and will serve as a senior analyst. At UMass, Isabella is also a member of the Women in Business Club and the Cape Verdean Student Alliance. In her free time, Isabella enjoys reading, running, and spending time with friends.

Kailyn Cabrini
TMT
Kailyn is a sophomore finance major from Easthampton, MA. This is her 2nd semester in MFIF, where she is currently a junior analyst in the TMT sector. On campus, Kailyn works as a Peer Financial Coach for Smart About Money and is also an active member in Finance Society, Smart Woman Securities, and Investment Club, where she placed 1st in the biannual stock pitch competition. This past summer, Kailyn worked at Florence Savings Bank as a bank teller. She is also a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. In her free time, Kailyn enjoys playing soccer, skiing, reading, and attending a weekly bible study at Newman.

Ruby is a sophmore finance major from Scituate, MA. This is her 2nd semester in MFIF, where she serves as a junior analyst covering the healthcare sector. On campus, Ruby is an active member of Investment Club, Smart Women Securities, and the Ski and Board Club. Outside of academics, she enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with friends and family.

Sam is a sophomore finance major from Hingham MA. This is his 2nd semester in MFIF and he is currently a junior analyst in the healthcare sector. This past winter, Sam worked at Northern Purchase, LLC. as a search-fund and acquisition analyst. On campus, Sam currently serves as one of the Vice-Presidents of Investment Club and is a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. In his free time, Sam enjoys golf, pickleball, and traveling.

Sydney is a freshman finance major from Lexington, MA. This is her 1st semester in MFIF and she is currently serving as a junior analyst. On campus, Sydney is the Professional Development Chair of Smart Woman Securities. In her free time she enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Aryan is a freshman finance major from Waltham, MA. This is his 1st semester in MFIF and he will serve as a junior analyst. Alongside MFIF, Aryan is active within the Investment Club and the South Asian Student Association. He is also a member of the Commonwealth Honors College. In his free time, Aryan enjoys listening to music, watching sports, and spending time with friends.

In high school, Giovanni served as his high school’s class president and served on the Leominster School Equity Committee. On campus, Giovanni is a member of the Investment Club and Finance Society.
